12th January is celebrated as National Youth Day and, on this day, GBR Degree College, AnapartI, in Andhra Pradesh organized an old Students Alumni Meet 2019 in Honor of the old students who graduated from this college from 1982-1985. Several former students of the college were honored in the college Auditorium on this day. GBR Alumni Meet 2019 was organized by Shri T. Lakshmi Narayana reddy, Shri T Krishna, Shri K Rama Krishna & Shri G V V Satyanarayana who way back passed out from this college. The program was a grand success since many old students joined this event. The Chief guest of the function the Hon’ble Secretary and Correspondent Shri Tetali Adi Reddy usually known as Konda Babu was garlanded and honoured in a ceremonial way. During the meet Dr Mallidi Rama Reddy, Principal, GBR Degree college, Dr Harinath Reddy, Director GBR Schools, Dr B Ratna Reddy Former Principal & Late Dr. KLT Bhami Reddy, Reader & Former Head, Department of Hindi were given a ceremonial honour. They were garlanded, muffled with shawl and given momento as a mark of respect besides being greeted by several old & new teachers & students on the occasion. Dr. KLT Bhami Reddy was honoured posthumously during the GBR Students Alumni Meet 2019. The great honour to Late Dr. KLT Bhami Reddy was received by HIS daughter Dr. Karri Sudha, Gold Medalist, recipients of several honourable awards, APPSC state topper 2008 and an achiever in various important sectors. Dr. Karri Susha is an Asstt. Professor & Head of the Hindi Department in Vishakha Govt. Degree college, Vishakhapatnam.
